Diagnostics

Grid Screen initializes a rolling file appender in the local config directory and logs at the info level. The current log file is logs/grid-screen.log.

The get_diagnostics command returns a compact report containing:

Grid Screen version
Session type
Window manager
EWMH status
XRandR availability
Current workspace
Connected screens

Capability errors from the adapter are also shown in the Settings status panel. Remove or archive local logs using normal filesystem tools when collecting a clean reproduction; no diagnostic data is uploaded by the application.
